This page explains what data zainvibes.com collects, why it is collected, and what control you have over it. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email me and I will explain it.

This site runs Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2. That means analytics only becomes active after you accept the cookie banner. Before you accept, no analytics cookies are set. After you accept, Google Analytics records page views, the pages you visit on this site, your device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google does not store your full IP address with this data.

This site has no accounts, no contact form, and no newsletter. Nothing you type is collected on the site itself. If you email me directly, I will see your email address and whatever you chose to write, and I will use it only to reply.

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies and advertising. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again. If you decline, no advertising scripts load and you see no ads.

If you accept, this site can show ads through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to show ads based on your interests and to measure how ads perform. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Analytics data is used for one purpose: understanding which content readers find useful so the site can improve. Advertising data is used to keep the writing free. Data collected on this site is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone except the third-party services listed below, which process it on this site's behalf.

Analytics data is kept only as long as needed to understand how the site is used, and no longer than Google Analytics' configured retention period. Emails you send are kept only as long as the conversation needs them.
